R/V Pelican CTD Cast Data, Gulf of Mexico, May 2010

Conductivity, temperature, and depth data collected during the R/V Pelican Cruise PE10-31, two weeks after the Deepwater Horizon accident. This dataset reports data from 32 CTD profiles collected around the Macondo well to establish a ground zero of the water column conditions as close to the time of the accident as possible. A 10-day cruise was split into 2 legs. Leg one was a sediment core collection and leg two was for a CTD survey of sites around the well head. Stations were occupied 2010-05-05 - 2010-05-13. This dataset was pre-ECOGIG and collected using National Institute for Undersea Science and Technology (NIUST) funding.
