Sloping farmland significantly increases soil erosion and the loss of nutrients and organic carbon, which can further affect the microbial community. However, there is limited knowledge regarding the potential impact of changes in soil physicochemical properties on microbial community composition, stability, and energy and nutrient acquisition in sloping farmland.
