This data repository for "The fluvial battering ram: collisional experiments reveal the importance of particle impact energies on bedrock erosionial efficiency" Masteller et al., (submitted) contains the following assets. These assets may be modified for your purposes. You are responsible for inspecting these assets and making adjustments as necessary.
Assets:
1) A .xls file named “Masteller_Chandler_Bower_Impact_Data_Table.xlsx” which provides the experimental data collected from 65 impact experiments. The data table includes the measured impact and rebound velocities of the impactor, the associated kinetic energies at impact and on rebound, the kinetic energy transferred to the sample per impact, the cumulative kinetic energy transfer for each experiment, the total volume of material eroded during the experiment, and the calculated rock resistance coeffiicent and coefficient of restitution for each experiment
