Geant4-DNA simulations, analysis scripts and derived data for "Testing a strand-break-density saturation of proton lethality with Geant4-DNA damage simulations and track-segment survival data"
收藏资源简介:
Version 2 of this deposit. It holds the complete simulation output, macros with random seeds, run logs, analysis scripts and derived data of a study that tests, with Geant4-DNA track-structure simulations (the molecularDNA example, Geant4 11.3.1), whether a saturation of proton lethality with the number of strand breaks in micrometre-sized domains is required by, or can be identified from, published track-segment cell-survival data. Contents: a reference library of fifteen proton energies from 0.12 to 5 MeV (2000 primaries each, parameters of the distributed cylinders.mac macro); three replicate runs at 4 MeV; a sensitivity library of the same fifteen energies and seeds with the damage and chemistry parameters of the example's human-cell macro; per-domain damage arrays (complex double-strand breaks and strand breaks per cubic domain of 0.3, 0.5 and 1.0 µm); track-averaged LET and absorbed dose of every run; per-domain statistics with bootstrap errors; fits of the saturation model and of its linear limit to the survival data with profile limits on the saturation scale; the statistical power analysis; the generated tables and figures of the article. The survival data come from the Particle Irradiation Data Ensemble (PIDE) 3.4 and are not redistributed: the deposit contains the selection script and the list of selected entries. README.md describes the files and the commands that reproduce every number of the article. This version supersedes version 1 (eight runs and an earlier analysis): the LET axis is the track-averaged LET in the scoring sphere, the damage classes are read with uproot and checked against the per-event counters of the example, seven runs and a second parameter set were added, and the statistical analysis was rewritten. Nothing in version 1 should be reused.
