<b>Malaria Transmission Dynamics in the Ho Municipality, Ghana: A Retrospective Study of Prevalence, Plasmodium Species, Seasonal Variations, and Risk Factors (2020-2022).</b>

Malaria is a leading cause of illness and fatality, particularly among pregnant women, children under five, and immunocompromised individuals. Ghana’s National Malaria Elimination goal relies on active surveillance and reporting of the prevalence and distribution of various <i>Plasmodium species</i> to inform targeted elimination strategies. We assessed the prevalence of malaria and the distribution of <i>Plasmodium species</i> among patients receiving healthcare services in three selected healthcare facilities in the Ho municipality.
