RNA sequencing and analysis of human eosinophils stimulated with oxidized LDL and IL-5

Activated eosinophils is a major cell type to be involved in allergic diseases.IL-5 primarily activates eosinophils and prolongs their survival. Oxidized LDL functions as an inflammatory mediator in immune system. However, its direct effect on human eosinophils remains fully investigated. The aim of this study is to clarify the role of oxidized LDL as a direct activator for human eosinophils.
