NOOC1 - 4NQO-induced Mouse Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cell Line Syngeneic to C57BL/6J background

This is a new mouse model for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma syngeneic to the C57BL6/J background. It is induced by a compound 4-nitroquinoline-1 oxide (4NQO), a DNA adduct-forming agent that causes DNA damage. This carcinogen is a tobacco-mimetic and triggers mutation profiles similar to those of tobacco-associated squamous cell carcinomas in humans.
