The aim of this study was to identify and compare the seasonal changes in the microbiome in drinking water systems (DWS) in four European countries (Denmark, Poland, Italy and Greece) in relation to the presence or absence of Legionella species. Each country sampled three buildings including hospitals, hotels and public buildings from four different sampling points of the DWS.
