FAIR-compliant experimental data, techno-economic modeling, and sensitivity analysis for the bioenergy recovery from cocoa mucilage

This dataset contains the comprehensive primary underlying data for the manuscript "Decentralized biorefinery for energy and nutrient recovery from cocoa mucilage: Experimental performance and Life Cycle Assessment". It includes raw biochemical methane potential (BMP) assay results, mass and energy balances for a 4.0 m³ plug-flow digester modeling scenario (100-ha plantation), techno-economic assessment (TEA) calculations (CAPEX/OPEX), Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) models, and comprehensive sensitivity analyses under different economic and carbon market scenarios.
