Effect of EFNA3 protein on gene expression in luminal cells

EFNA3 protein is a cell membrane protein. In our study, we found that during the process of collective migration, basal cells promote the migration of luminal cells through EFNA3. Through this sequencing, we discovered that stimulation of luminal cells by EFNA3 protein activates the oxidative phosphorylation pathway and upregulates the expression of genes related to oxidative phosphorylation. Overall design: To investigate the effects of EFNA3 on luminal cells, we cultured primary luminal cells. After a 12-hour starvation period, we stimulated the cells with a medium containing EFNA3 protein for 24 hours before collecting samples.
