Analysis of hybridization between Rusty crayfish and Allegheny crayfish. Orconectes obscurus

The aim of this study is to explore whether hybridization is occurring between invasive rusty and native allegheny crayfishes in the Juniata River. To characterize the extent of hybridization an double-digest restriction-associated DNA sequencing (ddRADseq) was used that allows for thousands of SNPs to be scored across the genome, and genetic polymorphisms to be assessed between species.
