The NOAA MRMS (Multi-Radar/Multi-Sensor System) is a meteorological radar data system developed by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), a division of the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This system integrates data from multiple radars and diverse sensors to provide high-resolution monitoring information for precipitation, storms and other meteorological phenomena. The database houses a rich variety of meteorological products, including 2D and 3D reflectivity, radar reflectivity factors, polarimetric radar data and others, which supports meteorological forecasting and disaster early warning efforts.
