Limited effect of short- to mid-term storage conditions on an Australian farmland soil RNA virome

These data were generated from Australian farmland soil samples stored at various temperatures and lengths of time prior to RNA extraction to determine the effect of storage conditions on RNA extraction success and subsequent RNA virus abundance and diversity.
