ECONOMIC MECHANISMS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

This article scientifically analyzes the economic mechanisms of sustainable tourism development, along with their theoretical foundations and practical applications. The study highlights the main principles of the sustainable tourism concept, including maintaining ecological balance, improving economic efficiency, and ensuring social responsibility. It also examines issues such as rational use of resources in the tourism sector, improvement of investment policy, development of public–private partnership mechanisms, and implementation of green economy principles. The reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan to develop sustainable tourism and their economic outcomes are also scientifically assessed. The results of the study show that sustainable tourism development contributes to economic growth, balanced regional development, and strengthening environmental safety.
