90 biotin-MNP streptavidin-response curve data

These data demonstrate 90 biotin-MNP 3rd harmonic phase (phi 3) as a function of streptavidin concentration (streptavidin-response curve) in 1.00x, 0.50x, 0.03x, 0.015x, 0.005x, and 0.00x PBS solutions. These results show that 90 biotin-MNPs aggregated in the presence of streptavidin when suspended in PBS solutions with strengths ranging from .005x to 1.0x, resulting in an increase in phi 3. However, the 90 biotin-MNPs did not aggregate in the presence of streptavidin when suspended in 0.00x PBS. These results are supported by xDLVO theory simulations. Wherein a decrease in diluent electrolyte concentration and an increase in 90 biotin-MNP zeta potential in 0.00x PBS, leads to a net repulsive force amongst MNPs in 0.00x PBS.
