**Description**
The LEBA European Power indices focus on seven main European liberalised Power markets; Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland. Electricity, unlike gas, cannot be stored and so production, consumption and pricing between interconnected markets mean that the price of power is more volatile than gas. Even though it is an interconnected market, prices differ between countries.

Including both physically-delivered and financially-settled transactions across each of Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland. Volume weighted average price indices.
