Fecal Metagenome of Hipposiderids of Hyderabad, Telangana State

This study investigates the fecal metagenomic profiles of multiple bat species belonging to the Hipposideridae family, collected from various locations across Hyderabad in Telangana State, India. By analyzing the microbial communities present in their fecal matter, the study aims to uncover insights into the gut microbiota composition, potential zoonotic pathogens, and ecological interactions within these insectivorous bats. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of bat-associated microbiomes in an urban Indian context.
