Adornos Träume Adorno's Dreams

»Die Traumprotokolle« von Theodor W. Adorno sind posthum 2005 im Suhrkamp Verlag erschienen. Von diesen etwa 100 Traumprotokollen werden zwei im Sinne der Traumdeutung Sigmund Freuds interpretiert. Dabei geht es darum, den gesellschaftlichen Gehalt der beiden Träume zu erfassen und nicht darum, etwas über die persönlichen Dispositionen des Träumers zu erkunden. Als eine Art »Tagesrest«, wie er in vielen Träumen zu finden ist, werden aus dem Inhalt der beiden Träume Aspekte der Kritischen Theorie herausgearbeitet. Weiterhin wird gezeigt, wie mit einer psychoanalytisch orientierten tiefenhermeneutischen Textinterpretation erinnerte und erzählte Träume verstanden werden können. »The dream protocols« (»Die Traumprotokolle«) of Theodor W. Adorno were published posthume in 2005 by Suhrkamp. Two of the about hundred dream-protocols are interpreted in the sense of Freud’s dream-interpretation. The focus of the interpretation is the societal content of the dreams and does not lie on the personal dispositions of the dreamer. Some aspects of the Critical Theory are analysed in the »rest of the day« (Tagesrest) which is always a part of the dream.
