Tapping panel dryness (TPD) is one of the most serious threats to natural rubber production. A great deal of effort has been made to study TPD in rubber tree, but the molecular and cellular events underlying TPD remain poorly understood. Here we reported the transcriptome profiling analysis of TPD using RNA-Seq as an attempt to gain insight into the molecular and cellular events underlying TPD in rubber tree.
