OCT Sample Data for BioOCT Napari Plugin

This dataset contains sample data for the napari-plugin BioOCT and contains 3D optical coherence tomography scans of biofilm or scaling on different substrata. The acquisition was done with Thorlabs OCT devices, and the files are in their proprietary .oct format (internally structured as a type of zip archive) with original metadata, which can be inspected by renaming the suffix .oct --> .zip. Three structurally distinct image classes are available: Membrane with Spacer: membrane substratum with embedded feed spacer fixtures Rough Electrode: electrode substratum with rough surface topology Smooth Electrode with Shadowing: planar electrode substratum with signal shadowing caused by thick biofilm growth Matching pipeline YAML files for each image class are also available. These can be loaded via the Pipeline Manager in the BioOCT napari-plugin.
