Brucella ovis genome re-sequencing to map mutations associated with growth in an unsupplemented atmosphere

Brucella ovis ATCC 25840 requires the addition of 5% CO2 to the atmosphere to grow on nutrient agar or in liquid broth culture. The goal of this study was to identify Brucella ovis mutants that can grow without supplementing the atmosphere with 5% CO2.
