Second-hand shopping distribution in Germany 2020, by location

In 2020, 45 percent of respondents to an online survey conducted in Germany stated that they had bought used items via Ebay or Ebay classifieds (German: Ebay Kleinanzeigen) within the last 12 months. Flea markets and garage sales were less popular with 11 percent of respondents having visited these to purchase items; eight percent said they had bought items from friends or family.
