T. gondii resistance to bicyclic azetidine chemical series

Whole genome sequencing of populations of T. gondii that are resistant to a member of the bicyclic azetidine compound series, BRD7929. The bicyclic azetidine series are multi-stage inhibitors of several Apicomplexans, including P. falciparum and C. parvum. We used whole genome sequencing to identify SNVs that confer resistance to BRD7929 and subsequently re-introduce the mutations back into T. gondii to verify their resistance conferring ability.
