THE ROLE AND EFFICACY OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES IN OPTIMIZING BUSINESS PROCESSES

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has significantly transformed modern business environments, particularly in optimizing business processes and enhancing organizational efficiency. This study examines the role and effectiveness of AI in improving operational performance across various industries. The relevance of the research lies in the increasing adoption of AI-driven solutions such as machine learning, natural language processing, and robotic process automation in business operations. A mixed-methods approach is employed, combining quantitative analysis of performance indicators with qualitative case studies from selected companies. The findings indicate that AI integration leads to reduced operational costs, improved decision-making accuracy, and enhanced productivity. Furthermore, AI contributes to process automation, customer experience improvement, and risk mitigation. The study concludes that while AI offers substantial benefits, its successful implementation requires strategic planning, skilled workforce, and ethical considerations. Recommendations for future research include exploring AI governance frameworks and long-term impacts on organizational structures.
