Children's Visual World

This study aims to record children’s visual and motor actions where they attend outpatient therapy sessions at Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s - Whitehall Pediatrics. We observed children in a room filled with furniture and toys for 15 minutes. Therapists and caregivers remained in the room with their children and were asked to perform therapy as they normally would. Children wore a headband with small cameras attached to it to record their approximate field of view. Some children wore an eye-tracker to record their gaze. Two fixed video cameras at the edges of the room captured the entire scenario and one camera recorded children's movements.本研究旨在记录于圣卢克-怀特霍尔儿科（St. Luke’s - Whitehall Pediatrics）物理治疗门诊接受门诊治疗疗程的儿童的视觉与运动行为。我们在一间摆满家具与玩具的房间内对受试儿童开展了15分钟的观察。治疗师与看护者陪同儿童留在房间内，并被要求按照日常诊疗流程开展治疗工作。受试儿童佩戴带有微型摄像头的头带，以记录其大致视野范围；部分儿童佩戴眼动仪（eye-tracker）以记录视线轨迹。房间边缘安装的两台固定摄像机可覆盖全部观测场景，另有一台摄像机用于记录儿童的肢体运动。
