Oxford Nanopore Sequencing of Toxoplasma gondii ME49 Isolates to Study Intra-Strain Genetic Variation

This project aims to characterize intra-strain genetic heterogeneity in Toxoplasma gondii ME49 using Oxford Nanopore long-read sequencing. Three independently maintained ME49 isolates 2015T and 2020T (obtained from ATCC and propagated in cell culture) and 2000B (propagated in mice) were sequenced. The dataset includes high-coverage long-read sequencing data intended for genome assembly, structural variation analysis, and comparative genomics.
