Whole genome sequencing and analysis of Staphylococcus aureus strain SA8-IRQ

This project involves the whole genome sequencing and analysis of a pathogenic Staphylococcus aureus isolate (strain SA8-IRQ). The strain was isolated from an inflamed wound of an elderly patient in Iraq. It exhibits significant multidrug resistance and high virulence factors. The genomic data aims to provide insights into its genetic profile, resistance mechanisms, and pathogenicity.
