ARChive

ARChive, based on InvenioRDM as its technological foundation, forms the core of a general data publication service for basic plant research. It supports the cultural shift toward the Open Data and Open Science principles agreed upon within the NFDI consortium by enabling the straightforward publication of large, non-textual data packages. The service integrates persistent identifiers from DataCite (DOIs), supports researchers in ensuring data quality, and guarantees long-term further development and compatibility with current storage and system environments through its modular and open design. Flexible, annotatable metadata improve discoverability, while the extensive REST API enables integration into existing workflows (e.g., Galaxy) and community-based curation processes without requiring new development.
