We analyzed gene expression from 10-month old WT and 5XFAD mice exposed to chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) or normoxia beginning at 4 months of age. Overall design: 10 month old (female) or 8-month old (male) WT (C57Bl6) or 5XFAD mice that had been exposed to chronic intermittent hypoxia (6.5% O2) or normoxia (21%) in 90 second intervals for 8 hours during their sleep cycle beginning at 4 months of age. Microglia were immunomagnetically isolated from the cerebrum of mice and total RNA was isolated for sequencing.
