We used RNAseq to compare transcriptome of peri-infarct cortex in stroke mice that received vehicle or ISP treatment (which blocks the PTPsigma receptor signaling) at 14 days post stroke. The purpose of this project is to identify genes that are differentially expressed in control stroke mice and ISP treated stroke mice that might mediated the behavioral improvement in ISP treated stroke mice.
