Identification of health-associated and pathogen-suppressive oak microbiota

A subset of bacterial isolates obtained from the 13 healthiest oak trees in a cohort of 150, and bacterial isolates exhibiting suppressive actitivty against bacteria associated with acute oak decline were identified via Sanger sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene.In this data set, .qmd files contain the processing of sequences obtained by Sanger sequencing and the construction of phylogenetic trees and Venn diagrams.html_files.zip contains the rendered HTML versions of the .qmd analyses.input_files.zip contains all RDS, CSV, and XLSX files required to run the .qmd scripts.images.zip contain figures used to show parameters to align sequences and build a phylogeny using Mega 11 software.
