As a model of aging C57BL6J mice fecal colonic microbiota and isolated colonic crypt cells gene expression were assessed at two months (mo) (human: 18 years), 15mo (human: 50 years), and 25mo (human: 84 years). Informatics examined aging-related microbal compositions, differential colonic crypt cell gene expression and correlations between colonic bacteria and colonic crypt cell gene expression.
