Health of fisheries resources in the lower Coppermine River, 2016-2017

Golder Associates Ltd. partnered with Angoniatit Niovikvia Ltd., a subsidiary of the Kugluktuk Hunters and Trappers Organization (HTO), to initiate a fisheries monitoring program for Arctic Char and Broad Whitefish in the lower Coppermine River. The long-term objective of the project was to increase the quantity and quality of baseline information on the ecology, life history, and tissue chemistry of valued fishery species in the lower Coppermine River.
