Water temperature from thermistors deployed at coral reef sites in the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, and other locations from 1987-11-02 to 2016-06-21 (NCEI Accession 0170826)

In situ temperature time series were uploaded as multiple NetCDF file types, each corresponding to a different time series for a different reef site. Within each file, the pertinent variables are:
name - name of reef and/or reef habitat
times - vector of sampling times, in MATLAB serial date number format
temps - vector of temperature samples in units of °C
latitude - temperature logger latitude, in decimal degrees
longitude - temperature logger longitude, in decimal degrees
depth - temperature logger depth, in m
Temperature time series in this data set were collected either as in situ loggers on weather buoys, or as in situ loggers moored at various water column depths or directly at coral depth.
