This series recorded the minutes of the Victorian Railways Board, which managed the VA 2876 Victorian Railways from 1973. Minutes were created to record summary details of the general administrative activities of the Board discussed at the meetings, any decisions on general matters, correspondence received, tenders approved, appointments, summaries of reports, and budget and expenditure information. Minutes related to a wide range of activities for which the Board was responsible.Copies of relevant correspondence were attached to the minutes, although Board reports were filed separately in VPRS 12588 Reports Tabled at Commissioners' Meetings.
