Mesenchymal stem cell therapy for ischemic stroke: an umbrella review of meta-analyses of preclinical studies

This umbrella review aims to systematically synthesize and critically appraise existing systematic reviews and meta-analyses evaluating the efficacy of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy in preclinical models of ischemic stroke. The review integrates quantitative data on infarct volume, neurological recovery, and molecular biomarkers, while assessing methodological quality using the AMSTAR-2 tool.
