Ultrasonic guided waves in a composite overwrapped pressure vessel under operational conditions - Baseline

This dataset contains baseline ultrasonic guided wave (UGW) measurements acquired on a composite overwrapped pressure vessel (COPV) under varying temperature and internal pressure conditions. The pressure was adjusted from 700 bar down to 50 bar in steps of 50 bar, with an additional final step to 20 bar. A second round of pressure at the same levels in a random sequence was also employed. Simultaneously, the surrounding temperature was varied between 25°C and 55°C in six levels. UGWs were excited and recorded using a network of DuraAct patch piezoelectric transducers mounted on the COPV surface. A total of 25 sensors, arranged in five circumferential rings, were deployed for this study. Six excitation signals were used to cover multiple carrier frequencies: five tone bursts and one chirp, each repeated three times at every pressure level.
