Soils with special properties - dry soils

The derivations of the criterion are based on the soil function map ‘Natural soil fertility’. The floor areas rated at level I (very low) were selected from the map. The soils with wet/moist properties were separated from these. It shows terrestrial soils with low soil thickness and soils with high skeletal inclusions or high coarse soil proportions. These soils have low to very low water storage properties. In the course of the year, these soils are characterized by drought. Typical natural plant communities and soil organisms are adapted to these soil conditions.
