资源简介:
Project: coastDat Water Level and Waves Future Scenarios - This dataset includes consistent marine future scenarios for the North Sea for water levels, currents and sea states, and for the Baltic Sea for sea states only, based on CMIP5 scenarios. The data are obtained using the hydrodynamic model TRIM-NP and the wave model WAM, respectively. The regional atmospheric forcing varies according to the selected scenario. The results for the North Sea are carried out within the WAKOS project and the results for the Baltic Sea are carried out within the ECAS-Baltic project. Find more information about WAKOS (Wasser an den Küsten Ostfrieslands) at https://ms.hereon.de/wakos/index.php.de and ECAS-BALTIC (Strategien des ökosystem-verträglichen Küstenschutzes und der ökosystem-fördernden Küstenanpassung für die deutsche Ostseeküste) https://globalclimateforum.org/portfolio-item/ecas-baltic/. WAKOS is funded by Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) (funding program "Research for Sustainable (FONA)" within the funding RegIKlim (Regionale Informationen zum Klimahandeln)). ECAS-BALTIC is funded by Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) (funding program "Research for Sustainable (FONA)" within the funding KÜNO (Küstenforschung Nord-Ostsee). Summary: These are the wind wave transient scenarios for the North Sea and Baltic Sea for the period 1961-2006 (historical) and 2006-2100 (future). Atmospheric forcing originates from CMIP5 CORDEX EUR-11 regionalized scenarios (https://www.wdc-climate.de/ui/project?acronym=CORDEX_DDS-CMIP5_native-grid). The simulation has been performed with the spectral wave model WAM Version 4.6.2. The model domain covers the area from approx 49.2° N to 66.6° N and 9.8° W to 31.6° E, with a spatial resolution of 0.044 degree latitude x 0.044 degree longitude (approx. 5 by 5 km) on a rotated grid with the coordinates of the rotated north pole 140°W E and 32° N. Integrated parameter derived from 2D spectra are available every hour. Lateral boundary conditions were obtained from corresponding coarse grid simulation covering most of the Northeast Atlantic driven by the same atmospheric forcing.
