资源简介:
This data set contains magnetic anomaly and fracture zone picks from the Indian Ocean for the early Cenozoic that were used to calculate the Euler rotations published in Cande et al. (2010). The data set includes picks for 14 time intervals between Chrons 29o and 13o from the Carlsberg ridge, Central Indian ridge, Southwest Indian Ridge and Southeast Indian ridge. The data are in the input format used by the “Hellinger” software programs described by Chang (1988) and Royer and Chang (1991) to calculate Euler rotations and their uncertainties. The data include latitude, longitude and an uncertainty estimate and are organized by plates and segments that are fit by the software. The data include picks from three plates, Antarctica, Indian and Africa, and the three plate motions are solved simultaneously. The data constraints were solved in different combinations (for example, including or omitting data from the Carlsberg ridge data), hence there are up to four data input files for each time interval. The output files from the Hellinger programs are also included.
