Expression profiling of Albugo candida race Ac2v at different time points during colonisation of the host

Four week old Brassica juncea plants were infected with Albugo candida race Ac2v and the infected leaves (up to 20 infected leaves for each time point were collected) were collected at 2, 4, 6 and 8 days post infection. All the leaves for each time point were mixed and grounded together and total RNA was extracted. RNA quality was assessed by Bioanalyzer and the RNA samples were then submitted for sequencing (1 biological replicate for each time point). In order to obtain sufficient reads from the pathogen, 2 dpi samples were run in a single lane while 4, 6 and 8 dpi samples were combined and run in a single lane.
