Global_gene_expression_profiles_during_differentiation_of_mouse_embryonic_stem_cells_to_macrophages_

In this study, we aim to perform gene expression profiling of undifferentiated murine embryonic stem cells (mESC) and macrophages and their progenitors derived from mESC. The aims of the experiment is to identify a set of genes uniquely expressed in mESC but not in mESC derived monocytes/macrophages and define them as "stemness" genes. We will also identify genes upregulated in mESC-derived monocytes/macrophages but not ESC to provide insights into the molecular pathways of mESC differentiation.
