(4) Presence of distinct pigmented region at base of petals: 0 = absent; 1 = present. (5) Mean length of stamens: 0 = < 2 mm; 1 = > 2 mm. (6) Mean number of carpels per flower: 0 = < 10; 1 = > 15. (7) Pollen unit: 0 = monad; 1 = tetrad; 2 = octad. (8) Presence of carpophores: 0 = present; 1 = absent. (9) Persistence of perianth in fruit: 0 = not persistent; 1 = persistent.? = missing data.
