Bathymetric MNT of French Guiana (HOMONIM project)

The bathymetric MNT of French Guiana, with a resolution of 0.001° (~ 111 m), was realised as part of the HOMONIM project. It covers the entire Guyana coast and partly extends over Suriname to the west and Bresil to the east. Offshore, the NTM encompasses the continental shelf as well as part of the slope. The NTM is intended to be implemented in hydrodynamic models in order to produce as accurate forecasts as possible of the heights of water and sea states at the coast and thus to improve the relevance of the Vigilance Vagues-Submersion. This product is available with the lowest astronomical sea level (PBMA) or mean sea level (NM) as a vertical reference.
