This is the full image data set for the following research paper:
Brown, J., Gharineiat, Z., & Raj, N. (2023). CNN Based Image Classification of Malicious UAVs. Applied Sciences, 13(1), 240. https://doi.org/10.3390/app13010240
The dataset comprises images of UAVs/drones in flight captured at various elevations, various horizontal distances from the person taking the photo, and various camera zoom levels.
There is a folder for each of 3 UAVs (DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise, DJI Mavic Air, DJI Phantom 4) and also a folder for images with no drone present.
As discussed in the paper, all images have been reduced to 256x256 resolution.
