瓦楞纸箱每次出厂前需抽样检测纸箱边压强度值,来匹配客户对纸箱边压强度值的定制要求,进而为瓦楞纸箱性能是否合格提供基础数据,有利于保障纸箱质量,提高对内装产品在装载、运输、保管等过程中的各种冲击、振动、颠簸、压缩、摩擦等外力的保护作用。选取瓦楞纸箱样品进行边压强度测试。1、数据采集:明确纸箱配料、规格、楞型;参照瓦楞纸箱国家标准,测定每平方米面纸克重、B瓦克重、夹芯C克重、A瓦克重、里纸克重,采用边压强度仪器测定面纸边压指数、B瓦边压指数、夹芯C边压指数、A瓦边压指数、里纸边压指数。2、数据计算:边压强度=0.95×(面纸克重×面纸边压指数+1.4×B瓦克重×B瓦边压指数+夹芯C克重×夹芯C边压指数+1.5×A瓦克重×A瓦边压指数+里纸克重×里纸边压指数)。3、数据结论:边压强度值大于客户定制要求值,判定为合格。
Prior to factory dispatch, corrugated cartons must undergo sampling inspection of their edge crush strength (ECT) to meet customers' customized ECT requirements, providing foundational data to assess the compliance of the cartons. This helps ensure carton quality and enhance the protective performance of the cartons against various external forces such as impact, vibration, jolt, compression and friction that packaged products may sustain during loading, transportation and storage. Corrugated carton samples are selected for ECT testing.
1. Data Collection: Clarify the raw material formulation, specifications and corrugation flute type of the cartons. In accordance with the national standard for corrugated cartons, measure the grammage of face paper, B-flute base weight, core C base weight, A-flute base weight and liner paper per square meter. An edge crush strength tester is adopted to determine the edge crush index (ECI) of face paper, B-flute, core C, A-flute and liner paper.
2. Data Calculation: The edge crush strength is calculated as: ECT = 0.95 × (Face Paper Grammage × Face Paper ECI + 1.4 × B-flute Base Weight × B-flute ECI + Core C Grammage × Core C ECI + 1.5 × A-flute Base Weight × A-flute ECI + Liner Paper Grammage × Liner Paper ECI)
3. Data Conclusion: A corrugated carton is judged as qualified if its measured edge crush strength exceeds the customer's customized requirement value.
