The project investigates hidden RiPPs (Ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptides) in microbial genomic data. We developed a bioinformatics pipeline to identify these compounds, synthesized them chemically, and validated their biological activity. The data encompasses the bioinformatics methodology and experimental results for synthesized compounds' bioactivity assays.
