Primary human umbilical veins endothelial cells (HUVECs) were isolated from segments of four fresh newborn human umbilical cords and cultured till about population doubling level (PDL) at 28. The HUVECs with 6 discontinuous PDLs were treated with rFGF21 (400pg/mL). The cells were starved for 12 hours before treatment for 48 hours. Transcriptome sequencing was performed on these cells.
