Shotgun sequencing to determine the likely source of near fatal neonatal case of Legionella Feeleii pneumonia

Shotgun sequencing performed to verify the identity of Legionella Feeleii isolated from a near fatal case of neonatal pneumonia. In addition, shotgun metagenomic sequencing was performed on a biofilm obtained from a humidifier in the patient's home to accompany an investigation into the likely source of this infection. The assembled genome from the clinical isolate of Legionella Feeleii was compared to a metagenome assembled genome (MAG) of Legionella Feeleii recovered from the humidifier biofilm.
