De novo Transcriptome Sequencing of Cave Cricket

This project aims to discover and characterize genes expressed in cave cricket through de novo transcriptome sequencing. High-quality paired-end RNA-seq data were generated and assembled without a reference genome to reconstruct transcript sequences, identify unigenes, predict open reading frames, and provide functional annotation using public databases. The resulting dataset supports gene discovery and future functional genomics studies in a non-model organism.
